Someone to talk to, right now

Sometimes you just want a real conversation: about your day, a show you liked, a decision on your mind, or nothing in particular. Pick a friendly host who's around and start talking.

Plenty of people go a whole day without a real conversation. Friends are busy, family is far away, and posting online isn't the same as talking. SnugTalk is a simple way to have that conversation when you want it: a real person, live, who is glad to listen and talk back.

You can talk about anything that's on your mind: your day, a show or a book, your work, a move you're thinking about, or nothing in particular. Some people call for ten minutes on the way home; others settle in for an hour on a quiet evening.

It works like a phone call with a meter. You see who's around, pick someone whose profile you like, and call. Text chat is there if you'd rather type, and you can switch to video at any point.

How it works

  1. Create a free account with Google, PayPal or your email, or try a free 2-minute call first.
  2. Pick a host who's online and choose what you'd like to do. Prices are on every profile.
  3. Add money to your wallet and call. The first minute is free, and you can hang up any time.

Good to know

Who are the hosts?

Friendly, curious adults who enjoy conversation. Each one is reviewed before they can take calls, and they set their own per-minute price.

How much does it cost?

Hosts set their own prices, often around $0.30 to $1.00 a minute. The first minute is free and you only pay for the time you talk.

Is this therapy or a dating site?

Neither. Hosts are not therapists, and SnugTalk is not for dating. It's friendly conversation. If you're in crisis in the US, call or text 988.

Do I need to sign up?

To choose a host, yes: it takes a minute. You can also try a free 2-minute call from the home page without an account.
